What survives, and what does not
Files are merged in the order you select them, page for page, with each source document copied across intact rather than re-rendered. That means the text stays text, embedded fonts come along, and page sizes are preserved even when you combine an A4 report with a US Letter appendix.

Merge PDF questions
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit. People routinely merge dozens; the constraint is how much memory your browser tab has, not a plan tier.
Can I reorder the pages after merging?
Yes — run the result through the page organiser in the app, where you can drag pages into any order before exporting.
Will merging reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied object by object rather than rasterised, so the output is byte-for-byte as good as the inputs.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Only if they are not encrypted. A PDF that needs a password to open must be unlocked first, and you need the password to do that.
